COUNCIL BLUFFS SOCCER CLUB | IOWA WESTERN COMMUNITY COLLEGE SUMMER CAMP
This collaborative camp between CBSC and IWCC provides players and teams with a competitive and educational experience. Our goal is to teach the game by building fundamentals that apply to players at all levels. Campers will be run through Division I drills designed to develop skills, vision, and competency. All drills and activities are geared to prepare each camper at their specific age for competition at the highest level.
REIVER RASCALS (Ages 3-5)
Campers are introduced to the very basic elements of the game. Sessions are composed of fun, imaginative activities that teach soccer's fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, and passing. The goal is for the player to fall in love with the sport and the ball in a fun, friendly environment!
REIVER ACADEMY (Ages 6-8)
Sessions are based on teaching fundamentals through fun activity based games. Sessions include fundamental skill instruction, skill-building activities, and small-sided games. Throughout the week players will learn fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, defending, and shielding. The Academy goal is skill acquisition in a fun environment.
REIVER YOUTH CLUB (Ages 9-14)
Designed to prepare youth for their upcoming seasons. The emphasis of each session is designed individual skill development, improvement of basic fundamentals, and application of technique in small-sided games. The Youth Club's goal is for players to enhance their overall skill in a fun, competitive environment.
